How to remove a compute node from an InstanceHA setup in Red Hat OpenStack Platform 13?

InstanceHA works perfectly after applying https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/13/html-single/high_availability_for_compute_instances/index.

However, unfortunately, after executing a scale-down of an InstanceHA compute node (e.g. instanceha-compute-02) with the following procedure: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/13/html/director_installation_and_usage/sect-scaling_the_overcloud#sect-Removing_Compute_Nodes - one ends up in the following state:

[heat-admin@controller-01 ~]$ sudo pcs status
Cluster name: tripleo_cluster
Stack: corosync
(...)
RemoteNode instanceha-compute-02: UNCLEAN (offline)
(...)
RemoteOnline: [ instanceha-compute-01 ]
(...)
