How to enable routed_networks in Director upgrade?

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenStack Director v.13
  • Spine-Leaf network

Issue

  • In Director if routed network option is set to False (default) it is not possible to change it to True.

Resolution

  • When deploying the undercloud to support for routed networks, the undercloud.conf must be enabled with enable_routed_networks.

    enable_routed_networks = true

  • In RHOSP13, if undercloud configuration not enabled with the routed network, then it is not possible to enable the option in Director upgrade process.

  • But in RHOSP future release, enable routed networks on the undercloud upgrade will be supported and currently tracked in downstream BZ:1625520.
