Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Unable to remove container after interrupting docker logs command.
  • If you CTRL-C/stop the docker logs <container_name> commands before it completes, then subsequent docker logs on the same container hangs.
  • After stopping docker logs <container> command with CTRL-C, the container will hang. The same container will be un-deletable and will be still in hung state.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4
  • docker-latest-1.13.x
