Service Endpoints not reachable after configuring SSL/TLS for Overcloud in Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • SSL/TLS enablement for Overcloud as per the steps provided in Advanced Overcloud Customization fails.

  • The output of openstack overcloud deploy at the very end:

Starting new HTTP connection (1): 10.0.0.1
    "POST /v2/executions HTTP/1.1" 201 469
    HTTP POST http://10.0.0.1:8989/v2/executions 201
Started Mistral Workflow. Execution ID: 7d2e8166-4b29-4a36-8251-774f69f1d729
    Instantiating messaging websocket client: ws://10.0.0.1:9000
    Overcloud Endpoint: http://10.0.0.100:5000/v2.0
    Overcloud Deployed
    clean_up DeployOvercloud:
    END return value: 0

  • However, service endpoints cannot be reached:

    [stack@director ~]$ nova list
No handlers could be found for logger "keystoneauth.identity.generic.base"
ERROR (ConnectFailure): Unable to establish connection to http://10.0.0.100:5000/v2.0/tokens: HTTPConnectionPool(host='10.0.0.100', port=5000): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2.0/tokens (Caused by NewConnectionError('<requests.packages.urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0x3813290>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused',))
