Overcloud deployment errors with Neutron VLAN ranges

Issue

• Neutron VLAN ranges ignored except for first bridge on Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform Director 7.2

• During overcloud deployment, the post deployment step fails. The os-collect-config log shows an error vlan id are invalid.

  • Deployment fails with:

  Deploying templates in the directory /home/stack/templates
  Stack failed with status: Resource CREATE failed: Error: resources.ComputeNodesPostDeployment.resources.ComputePuppetDeployment.resources[7]: Deployment to server failed: deploy_status_code: Deployment exited with non-zero status code: 1
  ERROR: openstack Heat Stack create failed.
  

  • The os-collect-config logs show:

  journalctl -u os-collect-config
  ...
  May 15 08:40:51 overcloud-compute-0.localdomain os-collect-config[4399]: 2016-05-15 08:40:51.277 4399 ERROR os-collect-config [-] vlan id are invalid.
