When we delete a Glance image the image is deleted in Glance but not in the ceph pool, Why?

Issue

  • Issues deleting glance images
  • Ceph back-end Glance Image deletion problem.
  • When we delete a Glance image, the image is deleted in Glance but not in the ceph pool.
  • Glance image-delete fails to delete parent ceph RBD image only deletes clone of it.
