OVN controller crashed on compute node

Issue

  • We saw that on a particular compute node, the ovn-controller crashed dumping a coredump file and the service was restarted by systemd.

  • ovn-controller core dumped and the corefile returns this:

Core was generated by `/usr/bin/ovn-controller --pidfile --log-file unix:/run/openvswitch/db.sock'.
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
