Is it possible to send/include "X-Correlation-Id" in the header request to RH-SSO event logging ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Required "X-Correlation-Id" header to be appended on the keycloak Event logs.

  • Use-Case : Multiple requests hitting keycloak endpoints at the same time, required to go through the entire log file carefully for any traces while debugging any issue. To overcome this, would pass on a custom header in the originating api call that would subsequently pass on this header to the keycloak endpoints as well. This would allow to grep the log files based on the header value, and would help faster debugging.

  • Http headers named "X-Request-Id" or X-Correlation-Id" logged to the keycloak endpoints while debugging issues

Environment

  • Red Hat Single Sign-On (RH-SSO)
    • 7.x
