Can i Update the postgres on Ansible tower server

we installed Ansible tower 3.7.1 through package, as part of the package we got postgres sql 10.12. now we got vulnerabilities reported for postgres 10.12 and we are planning to update just postgres, is it possible to it will impact ansible tower. Please suggest
