Determining the Level of VMware VDDK Installed on a Red Hat CloudForms Management Engine Appliance

You may be asked by a Red Hat support associate to determine what level of the VDDK is installed on your CFME Appliance. The library is connected via a symlink.

To check for symlinks

1. SSH into the Appliance.

2. Execute ls -l /usr/lib/vmware-vix-disklib/lib64/libvixDiskLib*

   Sample output:
