Satellite requirements to upgrade content hosts from 7.9 to 8.*

Hi.

First of all, running satellite 6.11 on RHEL 7.9 server.
Trying to upgrade Hosts from 7.9 to 8.*.

Is there a minimum satellite version needed to perform this in-place upgrade?
Will it work from a satellite server running on 7.9 or does it need to be RHEL 8 and 6.12 or greater?

I've created a Content View with RHEL 8 appstream and baseos repos enabled (along with some RHEL 7 repos) but I cannot see the RHEL 8 repos on the content host.
Clicking on the host in the Content Hosts interface, and clicking on Repository Sets shows the RHEL 8 repos enabled.

The documentation I've found online describe the leapp-upgrade option/process, and it seems fairly straight forward. But, I'm pretty certain I need to see the RHEL 8 repos from the contest host for this to work.

If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
