VMWare cpu configuration for OpenShift

Hi all,

I have to install Openshift 4.10 on a VMWare virtual machine (using a single node installation)
In particular, I need 16 vCPU.
When I deploy the VM what is right configuration I have to set?
If I use virtulized CPUs, VM doesn't start as you can read at https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2070484 within an EVC cluster.
So, I have to set 16 socket in order to provide 16vCPU. In fact, even if I set a number of cores greater than 1, Openshift doesn't receive these settings.
It seems that Openshift reads only socket number
