AMQ Interconnect v2 integration with AMQ Broker

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how AMQ Broker will integrate with AMQ Interconnect v2 (Skupper project as Upstream).
Could we use v2 as message routing for AMQ Broker product?
In following docs: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_amq/2021.q4/html-single/release_notes_for_amq_interconnect_2.0/index
on chapter "1.2. TCP, HTTP 1 and HTTP 2 Protocols" we can read the following:

"Unlike the typical AMQ Interconnect use cases, this means that you can use existing applications without modification. The router provisioned by Skupper is not suitable for messaging applications. If you need to route AMQP messages, use the AMQ Interconnect 1 LTS release."

This means that AMQ Interconnect v2 is not compatible with AMQ Broker? Can't we send messages from JMS Client like qpid-jms to AMQ Broker through AMQ Interconnect v2?

If AMQ Interconnect v2 is not compatible with AMQ Broker, which is your roadmap on AMQ Suite when AMQ Interconnect v1 LTS will finish?
