Satellite 6 provisioning question
With Satellite 5.x I have the following setup in place:
- Systems will get a PXE boot menu with a list of available kickstarts on boot
- If no kickstart profile is chosen, the machine boots normally and uses locally defined network profiles (i.e. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-XXX)
- If a kickstart profile is chosen, then the machine would get a DHCP assigned address from the Satellite server and install according to the kickstart
Can I replicate this setup with Satellite 6? After following the Provisioning Guide, it seems that systems kickstarted via Satellite 6 will always need to communicate with the DHCP server on Sat6 machine to get their network configuration.
