IP over Infiniband (IPoIB) is on technical preview for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 4. It is supported with the exception of IPoIB multipathing and failover with the OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED) 1.0 code ( http://openib.org ).

IPoIB multipathing and failover with OFED 1.1 is planned for inclusion with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.5 and 5.
