HP Z210 systems with Realtek ALC262 audio require an additional option to work in RHEL5

Issue: The HP Z210 system uses the Realtek ALC262 Audio chipset. This chipset requires an additional option in the sound.conf file in order for sound to work under RHEL5.

Environment:

• RHEL5u7+
• HP Z210 Workstation

Resolution: Systems with this chipset require the following option be added to the /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf file in RHEL5:

"options snd-hda-intel model=hp-bpc"
