Red Hat Fuse version 7.4 released

The latest release of Red Hat Fuse, version 7.4, provides numerous new and enhanced features and functions. For complete details about these additions, review the Release Notes.

New and updated features in Red Hat Fuse Online include:

• Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) sends messages to SNS topics.
• Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) retrieves messages from, and sends messages to, SNS queues.
• The FHIR Connector connects your integration to a Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) server.
• Connect to an Open Data Protocol (OData) service using the OData connector.
• Using Fuse Online on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), establish a new public endpoint and create a new environment label without applying it to an integration.
• An endpoint that returns a list of defined environment labels now optionally returns the number of integrations that are tagged with that environment label.

The following product capabilities are provided as Technology Preview in Fuse Online for this release:

• Data virtualization is a container-native service that integrates data from multiple heterogeneous sources, including relational databases, files, web services, and SaaS repositories.
• New connectors for Box, IMAP or POP3 email, Jira, and SMTP email.
• Add the Conditional Flows step to a simple integration flow or to an API provider integration operation flow.
• In the data mapper, specify a conditional expression and apply it to your data mapping.

Try these Fuse on OpenShift Technology Preview features:

• Use the Hawtio Operator for Fuse on OpenShift to simplify procedures for installing, upgrading, and uninstalling the Hawtio Console on OpenShift.
• Install Apicurito using the Apicurito Operator from the OperatorHub for OpenShift Container Platform 4.1.

The standalone distribution of Red Hat Fuse provides these new capabilities:

• New Maven artifacts for Fuse on Spring Boot 2.x.
• Support for Camel 2.22 and 2.23 components.
