Red Hat CloudForms 4.6 is now available in Public Beta

Red Hat CloudForms 4.6 is now available in Public Beta, and provides the following key enhancements:

Ansible Automation Inside: Enhanced integration with Ansible Automation, native orchestration integration, improved customization with Custom Button and Dynamic Resource Object (DRO).

  • Additional management capabilities for OpenShift Container Platform: Project Dashboard, more reporting, support for Prometheus in Tech Preview, support for CloudForms running in OpenShift.
  • Updates for managing OpenStack platforms: Security Group Management, Flavor Management, user synchronization with Tenants .
  • Improved Inventory capabilities for public cloud platforms: support for VM introspection in Amazon EC2 (SmartState Analysis).
  • Additional management capabilities for Red Hat Virtualization: V2V Migration, Performance Improvement, Overlay network configuration, Admin console access.
  • User Experience Enhancement: new Service Dialog Designer (Drag & Drop), improved dialog interaction, Service UI enhancements (metrics, events, re-ordering), Custom Button filtering.
  • New Provider: Lenovo XClarity. Manage Lenovo hardware through an XClarity provider. Discover and inventory. Detailed views and relationships. Power operations. Service Light management. Server provisioning. Capture server events. Topology views.
