Interface QueryResult<E>

Type Parameters:

E - The type of the result. Queries having projections (a SELECT clause) will return an Object[] for each result, with the field values. When not using SELECT, the results will contain instances of objects corresponding to the cache values matching the query.

public interface QueryResult<E>

Represents the result of a Query.

If the query was executed using Query.executeStatement(), the list of results will be empty and hitCount() will return the number of affected entries.

hitCount

OptionalLong hitCount()

Returns:

The number of hits from the query, ignoring pagination. When the query is non-indexed, for performance reasons, the hit count is not calculated and will return OptionalLong.empty().

list

List<E> list()

Returns:

The results of the query as a List, respecting the bounds specified in Query.startOffset(long) and Query.maxResults(int). This never returns null but will always be an empty List for Query.executeStatement().
