package org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.connections.spi

Defines SPI contracts for obtaining JDBC Connections from a provider implemented as a service.

Typically, the provider is responsible not just for connecting to the database, but also for pooling connections and caching PreparedStatements.

There are two flavors of connection provider:

• ConnectionProvider is for general use, and
• MultiTenantConnectionProvider for use in a multi-tenant environment.

AbstractDataSourceBasedMultiTenantConnectionProviderImpl<T>	Basic support for implementations of MultiTenantConnectionProvider based on DataSources.
AbstractMultiTenantConnectionProvider<T>	Basic support for MultiTenantConnectionProvider implementations using individual ConnectionProvider instances per tenant behind the scenes.
ConnectionProvider	A contract for obtaining JDBC connections and, optionally, for pooling connections.
DatabaseConnectionInfo	Contract used for logging "database information" on bootstrap
DataSourceBasedMultiTenantConnectionProviderImpl<T>	A concrete implementation of the MultiTenantConnectionProvider contract bases on a number of reasonable assumptions.
JdbcConnectionAccess	Provides centralized access to JDBC connections.
MultiTenantConnectionProvider<T>	A specialized Connection provider contract used when the application is using multi-tenancy support requiring tenant-aware connections.
