When an application such as systool reads /sys/class/scsi_host/host (generated by the Emulex<scsi host number>/mboxlpfc driver), the benign "Bad State" message is no longer printed in the console or logged into the system log file.
The kernel now asserts Data Terminal Ready (DTR) signals before printing to serial ports during boot time. DTR assertion is required by some devices. Kernel boot messages are now printed to serial consoles on such devices.
The command break no longer stops the execution later than the first code instruction. As such, the function parameters are now properly displayed when you run this command.

In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.6, the login prompt may not appear when the operating system was installed through a serial console. This issue is now fixed in this release.
