What is the difference between scan & rescan
Issue
We can't see the changed size of a device after running:
# echo "- - -" > /sys/class/scsi_host/host0/scan
However, the size change is visible with the use of:
# echo "1" > /sys/class/scsi_disk/0\:2\:0\:0/device/rescan
What is the difference between scan & rescan? How do they work?
