Issue

On RHEL 5u5, the “tar” program has a bug, preventing the unpack, index, or verify of TAR files that contain files with very long paths. Please note that tar-ing data itself works. Bug has been identified on RHEL4 as well, and on various earlier versions of GNU tar. Newer versions of TAR do not suffer. For example, the version on RHEL6 works fine. Do you have a version for us that works on RHEL5?
