Installation of grub fails on a multipathed device
Issue
We are encountering issues when trying to install grub on a multipath device named system:
# grub-install /dev/mapper/system
The file /boot/grub/stage1 not read correctly.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7
- grub
