ACK returned when SYN received instead of SYNACK when reusing the same port
Issue
- client application receives an ACK segment instead of a SYN ACK when making a connection using the same client port number as a previous connection
- previous connection is in the TIME-WAIT state
- connection is for a remote host with the current host acting as a transparent proxy
