df is not showing all mounted filesystems

Issue

  • Running df does not show all mounted filesystems.
  • Ex:
# df -Ph
Filesystem            Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/rootvg-rootvol  3.8G  1.7G  2.0G  45% /
  • /proc/mounts shows everything mounted fine.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
