Is there a command in RHEL that directly caches the files in a directory to have applications afterwards start faster?
Issue
- My application is reading files after start. It starts faster if it has been started bevore and the contents of the required files are already in the filesystem cache. Is there a command to directly have the files in a directory transferred to the filesystem cache?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, all versions
