File date in ls doesn't match on GFS2 node

Issue

  • Running ls on one node shows one date on a file on GFS2.
  • Running ls on another node on the same file on GFS2 shows an earlier date.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5,3+ (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • A Global Filesystem 2(GFS2)
