When are changes to a -ds.xml file detected?
Issue
- Does changing the
max-pool-sizeget picked up automatically without restarting the EAP instance? - Are these INFO messages indicative of the change getting picked up without a restart of the EAP instance?
- Can a -ds.xml file be hot redeployed, or do I need to restart the server?
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 5
- persisting a -ds.xml file to disk in
<JBOSS_HOME>/server/<profile>/deploy - logging showing
INFO [ConnectionFactoryBindingService] Unbound ConnectionManager 'jboss.jca:service=DataSourceBinding, name=<ds name>' from JNDI name 'java:<ds name>'
