All indoes consumed by cache on an OpenShift Enterprise broker

Issue

  • The OSE console has over 50,000 files in the cache filestore (/var/www/openshift/console/tmp/cache). This caused all inodes on the server to be consumed:
$ find /var/www/openshift/console/tmp/cache -type f | wc -l
56908

$ df -ih
Filesystem     Inodes IUsed IFree IUse% Mounted on
/dev/vda1        367K   367K   0k  100% /
