Slow performance following RHEL 6.2 to RHEL 6.5 upgrade
Issue
- We upgraded one of our application servers to RHEL 6.5 from 6.2. Since then, we are seeing poor response times on some of the nodes.
- We have been using some custom settings for hard disk; readahead and read_expire - prior to the upgrade this worked well.
- With the 6.5 upgrade we also added tuned with a custom profile. Is it possible this is causing any sort of conflict?

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.5
- VMWare ESX
