Issue

  • Red Hat Satellite v 5.5 to v 5.6 upgrade fails at database migration step with - ERROR: relation "c_tbs_usage" does not exist

/var/log/rhn/rhn_db_migration.log shows:

Running: psql -U rhnuser -d rhnschema -v ON_ERROR_STOP=ON -f -
UPDATE 794
psql:<stdin>:15: ERROR:  relation "c_tbs_usage" does not exist
SIGPIPE received.

Environment

  • Red Hat Satellite v 5.6 + Postgresql embedded database
  • Upgrade from Red Hat Satellite v 5.5 with embedded database
