Issue

The customer is experiencing a huge number of LUNs being created after a short outage of the EMC Service Processor.
According to this huge number, system load increases with a large number of udev processes being spawned.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 with qla2xxx driven HBAs. It does not happen with Emulex cards.
