What is the purpose of org.apache.cxf.stax.allowInsecureParser property?

Issue

  • We want to use a different version of Woodstox (or a different StAX parser altogether) in CXF. How can I safely do this?
  • I'm seeing exceptions thrown from CXF regaring Woodstox properties. Why is this?
  • What is the purpose of the option org.apache.cxf.stax.allowInsecureParser?
