Using a cursor in ODBC to query EDS VDB gives a parsing error.

Issue

  • see the below error in the server log:
WARN  [org.teiid.PROCESSOR] (<worker q>) Processing exception 'Direct usage of XQuery is no longer supported, use XMLQUERY instead.' for request OLdT8uy5pDlQ.3.  Exception type org.teiid.api.exception.query.QueryParserException thrown from org.teiid.query.parser.SQLParser.generateParseException(SQLParser.java:10059). Enable more detailed logging to see the entire stacktrace.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Data Services (EDS) 5.3.1
  • PostgresODBC driver for EDS
  • UseDeclareFetch=1 in the odbc dsn file
