What is the recommended JNDI naming convention for datasources in EAP 6?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • What is the recommended JNDI naming convention for datasources?
  • I see some datasource jndi names examples in the Red Hat documentation 1 such as:
    1. java:jboss/... (eg: java:jboss/PostgresDS)
    2. java:/... (eg: java:/OracleDS)
what is the recommended way? Does 'java:jboss' in "1." have any implications in terms of visibility?

Environment
