What driver is needed to use the eXFlash DIMMs with Red Hat Enterprise Linux?

Issue

  • A dedicated driver is required to use the capabilities of the EXFlash DIMMs with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, but Red Hat is currently unable to ship this driver as it is not open source.
  • Support for any storage capabilities included with these DIMMs is not included in RHEL.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.0
  • EXFlash DIMMs
