Unable to create mirrored LV

Issue

  • Have a two-node cluster which is connected to a SAN by fibre channel.
  • After creating two PVs and having put them into a VG when try to create a mirrored LV getting below error message

# lvcreate --mirrorlog core -L400G -m1 -n lv-test-new vg-test-new /dev/dm-24 /dev/dm-25        
Error locking on node m4fxhpsrm1l0.sa.mn.de.tmo: device-mapper: create ioctl failed: Device or resource busy    
Aborting. Failed to activate new LV to wipe the start of it
