Can I set a default PE size in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf?
Issue
- Currently anaconda sets a default PE size of 32MByte. (see KB721673).
- When a new VG is created by hand on the system after installation the default PE size is 4MB.
- Is it possible to set a default PE size in
/etc/lvm/lvm.conf?
Environment
- This is now possible since Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 and lvm2-2.02.115-3 or later
