How to fix a BROKEN snapshot in RHEV

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The VM won't boot. In the snapshot tab - one of the snapshots appears as BROKEN.
  • Due to high load on SPM forcefully stopped the snapshot deletion task , one of the VM snapshots is now in BROKEN state.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.x
  • Block Device storage type (iSCSI/FC DC)
