IPA command line XML parse error exception ExpatError: not well-formed (invalid token)

Issue

  • Several IPA command lines like
ipa group-find
ipa user-show guest1 --all

may fail with a python stack trace:

ipa: ERROR: unhandled exception: ExpatError: not well-formed (invalid token): line 3378, column 15
