"Warning: invalid memblk node" is displayed during kernel boot

During system startup, a warning message similar to the following is logged in the kernel log (e.g.,
dmesgorjournalctl -k):Warning: invalid memblk node [node_id] [mem [start_addr]-[end_addr]] - What does this message mean, and what action is required?
