Pacemaker resource 'aws-vpc-move-ip' fails to start and stays stopped with error : 'not installed'.

Issue

  • Post in-place OS upgrade from RHEL 8 to RHEL 9, or after resource failover from one node to other node, existing cluster resource ocf:heartbeat:aws-vpc-move-ip fails to start and reports "not installed" :

    * test_vpc_move_ip   (ocf:heartbeat:aws-vpc-move-ip):     Stopped (not installed)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (with the High Availability Add-on)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2 instance as a cluster member
