What is the difference between the lpfc options lpfc_nodev_tmo and lpfc_devloss_tmo ?

Issue

  • When I configure the lpfc kernel module option lpfc_nodev_tmo=30 in modprobe.conf, why is it set to 1 later?
  • Why displays modinfo lpfc for both options lpfc_devloss_tmo and lpfc_nodev_tmo the same description?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 and 6
  • lpfc Emulex hostbus adapter driver
