A time to live that is set on the message is not converted to an expiry time stamp when using the AMQP transport

Issue

  • Sending a message with a time to live (ttl) of a few seconds using AMQP will expire the message immediately.
  • Message with a time to live (ttl) sent to ActiveMQ over AMQP do not get put on the JMS queue.

Environment

  • JBoss A-MQ 6.0
  • Messaging client using qpid proton v0.5 (all supported languages)
