Newly added LUNs are not visible in `fdisk` command output

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Newly added vmdk disk device not visible on host
  • We have added(online) 200GB new vmdk disk to host. After scaning the host,it is not creating the block device file under /dev. We can see the new device details under /sys/block
# pwd
/sys/block/sdf

Please help to make visible this newly added vmdk device without host reboot.
