Some old versions of v4.11 and v4.12 are missing in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Update Graph
Environment
- Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS
- 4.11.x less than 4.11.36
- 4.12.x less than 4.12.12
Issue
- You cannot select your cluster version when your cluster OCP version is less than v4.11.36 and v4.12.12 at Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Update Graph.
- The "rosa list versions" does not show you less versions than v4.11.36 and v4.12.12.
- You wonder whether this symptom affect your future upgrade toward higher versions.
Resolution
- First of all, this is harmless for upgrades from existing your ROSA clusters based on less versions than v4.11.36 and v4.12.12. You can upgrade your cluster according to the upgrade menu in your OCM dashboard.
- It just does not show the old versions only from Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Update Graph and "rosa list versions".
- For more details, because the less versions than v4.11.36 and v4.12.12 are affected by AWS S3 policy change known issue during your INITIAL installation, currently disabled the versions in internal system. As a result, the versiosn are disappeared in the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Update Graph and "rosa list versions".
