Issue

  • Mailman detected bounce loop and tried to send a message to the mailman-loop alias.

  • But it failed with below Permission denied error.

    warning: unable to create lock file /var/lib/mailman/data/owner-bounces.mbox.lock: Permission denied
status=bounced (cannot append message to file /var/lib/mailman/data/owner-bounces.mbox: cannot create file exclusively: Permission denied)
