How do I put a View on top of a nonselectable column and still have that column used in criteria in JBEDS?

Issue

  • How do I put a view on top of a base table where the base table has columns that have "selectable=false"?
  • The extra column, which is not selectable, is provided to allow filtering, ie should be included in the where clause.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Data Services (JBEDS) 5.2
  • JBoss Developer Studio (JBDS) 4.1.1
