Issue

  • Error: "x" node(s) exceed max volume count error

Resolution

  • Upper limit to the number of Persistent volume (PV) that can be connected per node is 16.
  • In Azure Virtual Machine (VM) max node, count limit is set as Default number of PV per node= defaultAzureVolumeLimit = 16
  • Change that default maximum number : You need to choose another VM size, in which allows more disk count.

Root Cause

  • In Azure VM, default azure volume limit is set.
